I love my Amberites. I am a total geek and I used to attend the Black Road convention every year like it is a paying job (if only). I've also had the privilege of attending Ambercon North, in Toronto. It was well worth being stuck in the car with my big brother for far too long. (Just kidding, Big Brother).

One of these days, I may post my characters from the various Cons I have gone to. However, my dearest babies are starting to make their presence known online. I am talking about Brand and Aria. They are my two FAVORITE characters of all time. Brand is an elder straight from the books, and Aria is an amalgamation of everything that is everything that has ever interested me in any way, shape, or form. She was originally my online persona, I combined her with my Brujah elder, shoved her into Crossworlds, and got the most insane character ever.

I love Brand and Aria because they have grown with me. You can't play a character for seven years and not go somewhere with them. They have grown up from being petty brats to ruthless and intelligent adults, who have solid goals in mind. They have been through the good and the bad. They have been the good and the bad. And they have learned from all those experiences, and through playing them, I have learned. That right there is why I roleplay. And it was for them that I made my very first web page, in 1992 or thereabouts, back on Prodigy and then AOL Super Old Skool. I don't know whether to be sad or thrilled that no one can see them anymore.
